No balls! Wicked Women kick State-of-Origin into touch
Referee Sally Kimpton will have her hands full controlling the comedic talents of the Wicked Women as they head into Round 2 of the State-of-Origin Challenge at Comedy on the Rox on Wednesday June 11.

Big game performer Amelia Jane Hunter is tipped to put in a woman-of-the-match performance blowing the opposition off the park.

Janis McGavin, recently signed by Comedy on the Rox for big money from Channel 10’s Comedy Inc, is expected to make the hard yards early with Wicked Women rookies Rachel Toyer and Aleisha McCormack ready to kick plenty of goals.

Julia Clarke, imported from England at great expense to the management, is pumped to make a huge impact, while the pundits are predicting an outstanding game from the pride of Newcastle Hannah Gissane.

Comedy on the Rox captain Kathryn Bendall is tipping a full house as football widows come out in force leaving the big boofy blokes glued to their TV sets.

“For three years the Wicked Women nights have clashed head on with the State-of-Origin, and as far as the girls - and boys - in the audience are concerned, have come out on top,” said Captain Bendall, who will play a cameo role off the bench on Wednesday.

Rounding out Wednesday night’s all-female team is Dolores and Mel Lewis.
